3 MAJOR steps to learn French

Few realize that the French language is different when written than it is when it is spoken. It can be a big surprise for many. How many of you at the advanced level have felt cheated when visiting France the first time? I felt the same when I arrived in NYC, fresh from Paris.

These are the three steps: Preparation, Visualization, and Action.

All activities should need a warm-up. Like the muscles in sport, the brain needs a warm-up. Some take coffee to wake up. But I am talking of a real warm-up. In sport, I warm up, I see the target and I shoot. Similarly, for a learn French course, if you want to reach the target, you have to know where it is.

Is it the French language that is in the books or the French I hear? How do I prepare? Am I talking strategy? That could be a good idea. And then I take action.

The warm-up consists of working on the sounds, the vowels, the consonants, take time doing that, just to get used to hearing them.
Then I choose my target and I shoot.

That is to say, if these three steps are done, I can reach my goal. If one is missing, I will probably be off.

But for languages, we want to play. We are impatient. And we take the most popular program on the internet like these that show me sentences to choose from and lets me go further when I hit the jackpot. Bingo!. I am happy. I won. Of course, I miss the point because it’s not the reality. It’s just a game. A toy. And that is what I am doing over and over to Learn French. I spend hours and years in French classes or I play multiple games on the internet learning French, sometimes spending a lot of money in French courses for close to nothing.

Learn the contracted language right from the start.

It’s easier and more effective in the end. Because you will be prepared, you will aim at the right target, and when you shoot you’ll hit it in the center.

2. 6 GLORIOUS steps to master

You need to go through six steps to make any French conversation that is written into a text that is spoken.

I will show you these six steps for free at a workshop I will organize online soon. It will be free. You just have to pre-register. I’ll give you the details below.

If we learn from books, it’s limiting and misleading. When we want to speak, our reference should be audio. That is why if we work on a written text, I need to transform it into an audio version. Pay attention to that when you want the best learn French course.

To sum up, we can learn from any program. And that’s why we keep buying them. But we want a result. We want to reach the goal. Therefore, if I know where the goal is before I shoot, I have more chances. And in the end, I will save time.

When I came to New York, I had no idea I was not ready. I knew English. I thought I could speak. Definitely, if I had had the choice, knowing what I know now, I would have chosen another way to learn. You might be interested to know what I mean when I compare learning with studying.

There are other ways to do it. Just kick the ball is fast, but with a lack of direction, is it faster in the end?

Here are the 6 steps to transform the text. In the end, all the letters that are not pronounced will be colored.

Color the consonants at the end of words, except C, R, F, L.
And Color the word NE of the negation.
Color the letter E at the end of words of more than one syllable.
There are some special words to be colored on specific occasions. That is the step for them.
Color all the E letters in words of one syllable and in the middle of words of more than one syllable if the syllable follows a vowel sound.
Read the whole thing without the red letters

There will be some exceptions to these steps when we consider the necessary liaisons for example. But when we apply these steps, we get ready to speak French even if we are reading it.

Practice will make it Perfect. Therefore my whole program has a price tag on it. It’s well worth it. You should just look at it.

….To master the French conjugation online, I propose that you start with the easy part, but not only the easy part. You want to practice the verbs that are most used. Actually, they are the same in all languages. So which are they?

We are going to repeat them over and over. if you have followed me through these live events, you might remember I mentioned several times the quote in ‘the Crown’ that says: we learn through imitation. Right?

At the condition that what we repeat is not wrong. Because repeating a million times something that is wrong will not make it right at the end…
